Ello mum,
Alright, allow me to start off by saying, I love Pam and Paul dearly. They’re so nice and accommodating and funny, but whenever we want to go somewhere exciting and interesting, we always leave a little later in the day… when everything is closed. However, when I really look at it, it’s not their fault. Paul has to work late some days and we can’t leave without him because he has the car, so they’re just as much victim to the situation as we are. You know, they are almost the polar opposite of Tony and Maggie. Tony and Maggie got us up so early that although we were tired, we got to do everything that we wanted. Pam and Paul, having jobs to do, don’t get us up and, in turn, we don’t get very much done. Hm, just an observation.
Anyway, today, we went to Windsor. It’s a very quaint town and right in the middle of it is Windsor castle. Usually there are tours of the castle, but the queen was in! Paul suggested that if we stood outside one of the windows long enough, we might see her pass by. There’s a statue of the queen outside the castle, so we settled for a picture of that instead. We walked around the closed shops, peeking through the windows to get a look at their merchandise. There was a pastry shop with cakes, sandwiches, and all sorts of desserts. We stopped in and Paul bought us some cake. I got a zebra looking cake and Alix got an elaborate chocolate cake.
After that, we looked around some more and then began the drive home. Since it was a bit of a drive, I took the opportunity to read some more of Jane Eyre. I’m so glad that I don’t get car sick from reading! Anyway, we stopped off at a chinese restaurant on the way and were home before I knew it. I’m really tired, so good night for now!
I love and miss you mommy!
<3 always,
Your Rae of Sunshine
